The Meadows Pet Resort is a luxurious facility offering quality pet care while you're not there. Our staff is dedicated to making your pet's stay enjoyable while you're on vacation. Your pet will enjoy the country atmosphere, individual play time, and extra love and attention. At The Meadows Pet Resort, we strive to accommodate the needs of each customer. We are conveniently located 3 miles off Exit 28 of Interstate 83 between York and Harrisburg and we are open 7 days a week.
We strongly urge that you tour any boarding/vet facility you are considering to care for your pet while you are away, just as you would check out a daycare for your child. After all, our pets are considered one of the family and we owe it to them to make sure their "home away from home" is clean, bright and spacious with access to fresh air and sunshine! Be cautious of any facility that refuses tours, or demands that you schedule them ahead of time.
We are proud of our facility and are open for tours during our lobby hours every day of the week (with the exception of Sunday).

"We brought our dog willow here twice - once for our honey moon and the second was when our son Isaac was born about 3 1/2 months ago. Willow was given an indoor/outdoor kennel and had her nails trimmed. They took her in last minute too -a great place for when you need to board your dog!"

"I started taking my shepherd mix--and later my Siberian Husky--here after a random recommendation at a hair salon. I can't say enough good things about The Meadows and its staff, and particularly miss it now that I am living in California and beginning my search for reputable kennels out here. The day my husky became unresponsive, the kennel owner rode with him to the vet and stayed there until he eventually passed away. They are a caring group of individuals, as evidenced by the fact that my dogs always got ridiculously excited to go there. I wish there was a Meadows Pet Resort in Silicon Valley."
"The kennel area is big and clean, the staff is always very attentive and my pup gets excited and happy when she arrives and comes home happy and tired and CLEAN! The groomers are exceptional (and very affordable) and sometimes around the holidays they offer grooming with special smelly shampoos so she will smell extra nice (one time it was pumpkin spice another time it was sugar cookies) so cute! I also board my kitty here because I know he is safe and I am leaving him in capable hands. I find the quality of care here is the very best of all the kennels in the York/Harrisburg/Lancaster areas that I have tried. When anyone asks me where to board dogs/cats, I tell them this place!"
